Contrary to what you may think, it is essential to get 30 minutes of sun exposure per day. Sun exposure means maximum skin and eyes exposed to the sun in between the hours of 10am and 2pm. This is when the beneficial UV (B) is at its greatest. Vitamin D is essential for bone strength, calcium homeostasis and metabolism. Tanning or prolonged sun exposure is not recommended. Visit the cancer councils website for the slip slop slap campaign.
PEACE a tiny step towards learning to meditate <3
TIP: Each morning when you wake up and every night when you get home from work or after you put the babies/children to bed. Take 2 minutes to calm yourself. Sit peacefully, close your eyes and take deep breaths. Fill your lungs with oxygen and be still. Utilise this time to focus on releasing tension and any of the days worry's to be at peace.
SLEEP & GROUNDING
Many Neurologists believe that while we sleep toxins are cleared from your brain. Inadequate sleep causes cloudiness from an increase in toxins and even shrinking of the brain. An entirely new perspective on mummy brain! For mothers of young children sleep and certainly uninterrupted sleep can be something of the past. However, please do try and get a solid 8 hours sleep per night. I recommend 10pm until 6:30am. This way you can do some exercise before work.
I highly recommend purchasing a grounding sheet @ www.ozearthing.com.au This has improved my husbands and my sleep tremendously.
